The Dublin City Marathon is only around the Corner on Mon 26th October. The taper is full swing, leaving you time to eat, rest and continue your strength and conditioning. Many of my Physio patients and Yoga friends are going the distance. From personal experience and recent scientific studies , I recommend a dynamic warm up before your run. This will help settle the nerves while waiting to take off and set up your joints and muscles for the infamous 26.2 miles. Practice the sequence before the big day and try to include it before your final training runs leading to the 26th October. Repeat the sequence as often as you want. Spend 3-5 minutes at it, minimum.
You’ve the hard work done, enjoy as much of it as possible! GOOD LUCK!!
